How can Facebook be utilized for my contest?

Can application forms be made available in Facebook?

No.  Application forms cannot be framed within Facebook for entry.  A great alternative is to create a webform which, though it does not allow a user to save a draft and reaccess,  a Webform can be set up and linked to facebook for entry.

Can portals be made available in Facebook?

Yes, portals CAN be made available in Facebook but NOT with social sharing.  A great alternative is to make the portal available via a customer site via iframing WITH social sharing and then to also make the portal available in Facebook WITHOUT social sharing.

You can vote once per sub-category for the duration of the competition.

Can more than one portal be created and pointed to the same workspace?  For example, a gallery and a voting portal?

If two portals point to the same workspace but have reason to use two DIFFERENT review forms (private judging review form vs. voting form) that are utilized simultaneously, THEY CANNOT point to the same workspace.  This is because the system will be confused by “tallying” the results of a review form vs. a vote.

If more than one portal or review form needs to be utilized, they should be activated at different times in the process. For example, first the gallery is active, and when the viewing period ends, the primary portal/review form are changed, and then the voting portal is active.  At any given time, only one review form should be active.
